Making an Impact through Technology: My Journey as a Web Developer

As a web developer, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the latest technologies and tools in the industry. From React to Angular, I’ve had a chance to develop my skills and expand my knowledge base over the years. However, what truly drives me is the ability to make a positive impact through technology.

My passion for technology began early on in my career, working as an assistant property manager at the Starks Building in downtown Louisville, KY. At that time, I was introduced to the power of digital tools and how they can simplify complex tasks and enhance user experiences. From there, I transitioned into web development and started working with some of the leading companies in the field.

One of the projects that I’m currently working on is DateDreamer, a calendar library that provides users with pre-built components to manage their events and schedules. I believe that technology should be intuitive and easy to use, and DateDreamer reflects that philosophy. With DateDreamer, users can seamlessly integrate calendars into their websites and enhance their functionality.

Another project that I’m working on is RestaurantGrades, a platform that allows Louisville, KY citizens to search and see the health inspection grades and violations of their favorite restaurants. This project was born out of my desire to make a positive impact on my community. By providing citizens with easy access to this information, they can make informed decisions about where they choose to dine.
